Their Story
Since 1993, the Ōamaru Penguin Conservation Experience has conducted vital research at the colony and a second control site to monitor Ōamaru’s little penguin populations and support the species’ wider conservation efforts. Their hands-on approach to conservation sets them apart in the tourism world, driven by passionate people dedicated to protecting the little penguins.
