Their Story
The journey of Ringawera Baker began in 2008 on Waiheke Island, starting as a small backyard business primarily focusing on pre-packaged baked goods, including their now award-winning Lavash. Over time, it grew into a small-scale wholesale bakery, supplying cafes and restaurants across the island.
What They Make
Breads: sourdough (organic rye sourdough), baguettes, ciabatta, focaccia, rewena (Māori bread), mixed grain, pide. Pastries: almond croissants (best-selling), lemon croissants, ginger crunch, pistachio cream brioche, classic croissants, brioche, hot cross buns (seasonal). Pre-packaged Baked Goods: Lavash flatbread. Savory Items: freshly filled focaccias, paninis (with deli meats, cheeses, salads, pickles, relishes), sandwiches, toasties. Cakes. Drinks: Ozone coffee.
